Developing practical skills should be a way of preparing yourself before you are thrown into a an actual working environment. There are so many ways of getting work experience before graduating.

An internship is basically a temporary work experience, that is majorly given to students to gain on site experience in a professional work environment. This is one of the most common ways students gain experience before graduating. 2.  Volunteer
