Job Description
Yiaga Africa is inviting qualified research firms to submit proposals for the conduct of a Longitudinal Poll on Voting Intentions and Motivations ahead of the 2027 General Elections. The project focuses on knowledge management, learning, and evidence-based electoral research to track voter behaviour and participation trends across Nigeria.
Available Project Scope
- Design and implementation of the National Voter Intention Survey (NVIS III)
- Multi-wave longitudinal panel survey across all 36 states and FCT
- Tracking voter intentions, motivations, and participation trends over time
- Analysis of socio-political factors influencing voter turnout
- Ensuring comparability with previous NVIS datasets for trend analysis
Responsibilities
- Conduct nationwide public opinion surveys and longitudinal studies
- Develop survey instruments and research frameworks
- Carry out pilot testing and multi-wave data collection
- Perform advanced statistical and data analysis
- Produce cleaned datasets and analytical reports
- Prepare advocacy briefs and final consolidated reports
- Present findings to Yiaga Africa and stakeholders after each phase
Requirements
- Proven experience in nationwide public opinion research in Nigeria
- Experience managing longitudinal or panel survey studies
- Strong background in advanced statistical analysis
- Familiarity with electoral research and democratic governance
- Ability to produce policy-oriented research reports
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and multi-state studies
