Western Development Company Limited (WDCL) is offering an opportunity for recent graduates and young professionals to gain practical experience in Business Development within the Oil & Gas industry. The role provides hands-on exposure to sales, marketing, client relationship management and business growth activities.

Responsibilities:

• Support the identification of new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector.
• Research prospective clients, projects, tenders and industry opportunities.
• Monitor tender portals and identify relevant bidding opportunities.
• Assist with preparing company profiles, proposals, presentations and commercial documents.
• Support client follow-ups and business relationship management.
• Assist with vendor registration and prequalification activities.
• Maintain an updated database of clients, prospects and business opportunities.
• Prepare business development reports and market intelligence.
• Provide administrative and research support to the Business Development team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in business development and the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good research, analytical and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong networking skills.
• Highly motivated and proactive.
