A leading telecommunications provider is seeking a Trade Development Representative to support its retail and agent network in the Devki Cluster along Mombasa Road.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will conduct regular outlet visits to increase retailer awareness, support SIM sales and mobile-money float availability, and maintain product visibility and merchandising standards at SSOs and T-Kash agent outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment and mapping: Identify and recruit agents, focusing on mobile-money outlets and retail stores with high customer traffic, and support SSO and agent mapping.

• Outlet visits: Visit SSOs and agents regularly according to agreed route and beat plans.

• Tools and training: Provide the tools required for transactions and train SSOs and T-Kash agents on operational processes.

• Compliance training: Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) training and testing for agents, and train SSOs on Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures for SIM registration.

• Float and stock management: Monitor and enforce the prescribed 1.5-times stock rule for agents, and ensure SSOs have adequate SIM stock for new registrations and activations.

• Merchandising: Supply merchandising materials and maintain presentation and visibility standards at SSO and agent outlets.

  
  

Qualifications and Experience

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.

• At least one year of sales and distribution experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or telecommunications sector.
