Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited is recruiting experienced professionals for multiple engineering and project services positions supporting major oil and gas developments in Nigeria. The roles cover pipeline engineering, automation and controls, offshore execution, structural engineering, electrical engineering and project services across the HA and HB-Buko projects.

Responsibilities:

Principal Pipeline Engineer

• Lead pipeline engineering activities across conceptual, FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning phases.
• Provide technical assurance for offshore pipeline design, integrity and operational requirements.
• Perform pipeline analysis including wall thickness, on-bottom stability, free-span, thermal expansion and lateral buckling assessments.
• Manage pipeline routing, crossings, installation analysis and rigid spool and jumper design.
• Review engineering deliverables, specifications, procedures, reports and technical submissions.
• Coordinate pipeline engineering activities with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and subsea disciplines.
• Supervise pipeline engineers and mentor junior and graduate engineers.
• Support HAZID, HAZOP, commissioning, cost estimation and project reviews.

Principal Offshore Engineer (HUC)

• Lead hook-up and commissioning activities for topsides and bridges at offshore project sites.
• Support transportation and installation of jackets, piles, topsides and bridges.
• Manage T&I and HUC contractors within agreed cost, schedule and scope.
• Coordinate interfaces between fabrication, T&I, HUC, wells, pipelay and operations teams.
• Support load-out activities and offshore installation planning.
• Manage cold commissioning before sail-away and dynamic commissioning through final handover.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation and cost-saving strategies.
• Ensure seamless handover of facilities from contractors to Operations.

Requirements:

Principal Pipeline Engineer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 14 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with offshore platforms, FPSOs or onshore terminals is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of HSSE frameworks and international engineering standards.
• Strong pipeline engineering, analysis and integrity knowledge.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and mentoring skills.

Principal Offshore Engineer (HUC)

• Engineering degree with COREN registration.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Minimum 10 years’ offshore commissioning experience, including at least 5 years in an offshore execution role.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience commissioning systems including gas compression, production, electrical, power generation, utilities, flare and PACO.
• Proven contract management and contractor relationship management experience.
• Experience with multiple platform/package commissioning is preferable.
• Offshore certifications such as OSP or BOSIET.
