Rainoil Limited is recruiting for the position of Station Account Officer to manage petty cash inflows and outflows at its stations and depots while maintaining accurate financial records and transaction books.

Station Account Officer

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the availability of funds for day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
• Maintain records for easy disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment.
• Process expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of cash advances.
• Create and maintain records of cash requests and disbursements.
• Reconcile received cash with expenses recorded in the petty cash book.
• Process payments and issue receipts.
• Maintain accurate records of income and expenses and reconcile cash balances.
• Collect money from the bank for safekeeping before reimbursements.
• File documents concerning cash payments and collections.
• Respond to queries regarding approvals, payment limits, and retirement deadlines.
• Prepare daily and weekly collection and payment summary reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an HND/BSc in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Honesty, commitment, hard work, and self-motivation.
