The Africa PachiPanda Challenge is a pan-African innovation programme by MTN Group and WWF supporting young African innovators and youth-led businesses developing practical solutions to environmental and sustainability challenges. Participants can access funding opportunities, expert mentorship and business development support while competing for a place at the Africa Grand Finale.

Responsibilities:

• Develop or present an innovative solution addressing an environmental or sustainability challenge.
• Demonstrate the potential of the solution to create meaningful environmental impact.
• Show how the solution can become a viable and sustainable venture.
• Participate in challenge development activities and competition stages.
• Refine and strengthen the solution with support from mentors and experts.
• Demonstrate the potential scalability of the solution.

Requirements:

• Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
• Must be an individual innovator or part of a youth-led SME.
• Must be from a participating African country.
• Must have an innovative idea, solution or venture addressing an environmental or sustainability challenge.
• Must demonstrate the potential for the solution to create meaningful impact.
• Must be willing to participate in the challenge and its development activities.
