Job Description
Kartel Energy is a leading brand in backup power systems, covering inverters, solar panels, UPS, solar charge controllers, and deep cycle batteries for domestic and commercial applications worldwide. They're looking for a Sales Executive to join their Lagos team, focused on identifying new opportunities, closing deals, and building client relationships in Nigeria's growing energy space. It's a field-facing role for someone who is proactive, persuasive, and comfortable driving their own pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their needs and concerns
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Create regular reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Ensure availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
- Represent the company at exhibitions and conferences
- Negotiate and close deals, handling complaints and objections professionally
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather customer and prospect feedback and share with internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in any relevant discipline
- Experience in sales or business development (experience level not specified)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and self-driven approach to sales
