The Islamic Development Bank is offering a 6-month internship placement at its Abuja office, giving recent graduates hands-on experience in project management and development operations within one of the world's leading multilateral development institutions. The role sits within the project coordination and infrastructure space, working directly alongside experienced development professionals on real IsDB projects. This is a strong opportunity for graduates in engineering, project management, IT, or business administration who want a credible international development credential early in their career. IsDB does not charge any fees at any stage of recruitment  any offer requesting payment is fraudulent.

Responsibilities

• Support project coordination and management activities
• Assist in report writing and documentation
• Provide input on contract management and project evaluation
• Conduct research and data analysis
• Participate in meetings and project discussions
• Help develop project tools and templates
• Support operations and administrative functions

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree
• Must have graduated within the last 12 months
• Eligible fields: Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.), Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related disciplines
• Strong interest in development and project management
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Organisational and coordination skills
• English proficiency required; French is an added advantage
