Honeywell International is recruiting an Advanced Field Service Engineer to provide technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer service for complex industrial systems. The role is based in Lagos and requires a strong engineering background, field service experience, and willingness to travel extensively.

Description:

• Provide on-site technical support for equipment and industrial systems.
• Support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues and provide equipment guidance.
• Support continuous improvement of field service and customer care processes.
• Work with engineering, sales, logistics, technical support, and other internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and system issues to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate service reports and records of customer interactions.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance activities.
• Serve as an escalation point for field service-related issues.
• Provide technical feedback to engineering and product development teams.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and industry developments.
• Follow safety policies, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
• Travel to customer locations domestically and internationally when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Relevant diploma certifications may be considered in place of a degree.
• Proven experience in field service engineering or a related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of complex machinery, equipment, or industrial systems.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of custody transfer, tank inventory management systems, gas flow metering systems and skids, flame and gas detection systems, and field instrumentation is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organisational and task-prioritisation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including at short notice.
