Greenpeg Nigeria Limited is accepting applications for its 2026 Technical Trainee Programme 2.0, designed for HND graduates seeking practical exposure in industrial engineering and technical sales. The full-time onsite programme combines classroom learning, mentorship, project assignments and hands-on exposure to engineering and commercial activities across the oil and gas, food and beverage, and FMCG sectors.

Responsibilities

1. Graduate Mechanical / Piping Engineer

• Support mechanical equipment design and piping layout development.
• Assist with technical drawings, isometrics and specifications.
• Participate in installation and modification work at project sites.
• Support engineering standards, drawing packages and material take-offs.
• Contribute to as-built documentation and site reports.

2. Graduate Process Engineer

• Assist with process calculations and mass and energy balances.
• Support equipment sizing for pumps, heat exchangers and vessels.
• Contribute to Process Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
• Interpret and update process documentation.
• Participate in process reviews and HAZOP sessions.

3. Graduate Instrumentation Engineer

• Assist with instrument selection and datasheet preparation.
• Support loop drawings and hook-up details.
• Participate in instrument installation and testing.
• Learn calibration and pre-commissioning practices.
• Contribute to instrument indexes and cause-and-effect matrices.

4. Graduate Automation Engineer

• Support PLC and HMI programming under supervision.
• Assist with control system documentation and I/O lists.
• Contribute to Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing.
• Participate in automated-system commissioning.
• Learn industrial communication protocols and SCADA fundamentals.

5. Graduate Electrical & Electronics Engineer

• Support electrical load and cable-sizing calculations.
• Assist with equipment and switchgear selection.
• Contribute to wiring drawings, schematics and single-line diagrams.
• Participate in installation, testing and pre-commissioning activities.
• Learn earthing, lighting and small-power design principles.

6. Graduate Internal Sales Engineer

• Respond to customer enquiries with accurate technical information.
• Support product selection and specification matching.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
• Follow up on orders through fulfilment and delivery.
• Coordinate with external sales, procurement and logistics teams.

7. Graduate External Sales Engineer

• Participate in client visits and technical meetings.
• Support new business and sales opportunities.
• Deliver product presentations and demonstrations.
• Follow up with customers and develop business relationships.
• Contribute to sales reports and pipeline reviews.

Requirements

• HND from a recognised institution.
• 0-2 years of work experience.
• Completed NYSC or possess a valid exemption certificate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
• Willingness to learn, take direction and work collaboratively.
• Availability for full-time onsite participation.
• Engineering applicants should have an HND in a relevant engineering discipline and a good understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Engineering applicants should be interested in engineering design, calculations, technical drawings and modelling.
• Engineering applicants must be willing to work at project sites across Nigeria, including offshore locations when required.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or relevant engineering software is an advantage.
• Sales applicants may hold an HND in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Sales applicants should have strong interpersonal skills and an interest in technical sales.
• Sales applicants should be willing to learn product applications, prepare quotations and work towards sales targets.
• External Sales Engineer applicants must be comfortable with travel and client-site visits.
