IITA, a CGIAR Research Centre working to improve food security and build climate resilience across Africa, is hiring 6 Graduate Finance Interns to support its finance operations in Ibadan. Working under Finance Managers and Officers, interns will gain hands-on exposure to financial operations, reporting, treasury, grants management, and ERP systems within a globally respected agricultural research institution. This is a solid entry point into finance within an international development environment.

Responsibilities

• Financial operations support
• Financial reporting and analysis
• Fixed assets and inventory management
• Banking and treasury support
• Grants and project finance support
• ERP and digital finance systems
• Administrative support across the finance function

Requirements

Academic:

• Bachelor's Degree (minimum Second Class Lower) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related disciplines
• At most 2 years post-NYSC

Professional Qualifications (Desirable):

• ATSWA, ICAN (Foundation/Skills Level), ACCA (Foundation/Applied Skills), CIMA, CPA or equivalent

Technical Competencies:

• Basic accounting knowledge
• Understanding of financial reporting principles
• Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Numerical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
