Development Reimagined Remote Internship Programme 2026 – Applications Now Open

Development Reimagined is an African-led, women-led international development consultancy that works with governments, businesses and international organisations on global development challenges. Its Africa-China Relations Remote Internship Program 2026 offers students and young professionals practical experience supporting research, policy, programme and client work with the China-Africa team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research, policy and programme work relating to Africa-China relations.
• Support client strategy and development of recommendations.
• Contribute to research reports and policy analysis.
• Conduct literature reviews for research and project deliverables.
• Participate in interviews with executives, government officials and thought leaders when assigned.
• Support the preparation of client reports and presentations.
• Assist with event hosting and organisation.
• Support relevant marketing activities.
• Collaborate with Development Reimagined experts on articles and other published work.

Requirements

• Be a student or young professional.
• Strong interest in Africa-China relations.
• Willingness to contribute to research, policy and programme work.
• Availability for a minimum of six months.
• Ability to commit 16 hours per week.
• Postgraduate applicants, including those with or pursuing a Master's degree, are common applicants.
• Some undergraduate applicants are also accepted.
• Applicants from all over the world are eligible.
• Submit a CV and a brief email explaining 2-3 reasons for being a good fit for Development Reimagined and the internship.
