Apply For The CABLE GRE Scholarship Program 2026

The CABLE GRE Scholarship supports outstanding African graduates who cannot afford the cost of the GRE by providing fully covered GRE sponsorship for selected scholars.

The scholarship is designed to help remove financial barriers for graduates seeking admission into graduate school.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be a citizen of an African country.
• Be 30 years old or younger at the time of application.
• Hold at least a Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND).
• Have graduated between 2021 and 2026.
• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale, or its equivalent based on the institution's grading system.
• A proof of intent to apply to graduate school is optional but advantageous.

Note: Selected candidates will be invited to take a GRE pre-test.

Required Documents

Applicants are required to combine the following into one PDF:

• Application essay of 500 words maximum.
• Curriculum Vitae (1–2 pages preferred, 3 pages maximum).
• Academic transcript — an unofficial transcript is acceptable, provided it is certified and shows final grades.

• Filter Phase: August 10–23, 2026
• Test & Evaluation Phase: September 7–10, 2026
• Selection Phase: September 11–14, 2026
• Final Scholars Announced: September 21, 2026
