SLB Graduate Technical Internship 2026 Responsibilities

Field Engineer Intern:

• Support engineers and technicians during field operations
• Assist in preparing equipment, tools and materials
• Participate in data collection, monitoring and basic analysis
• Assist with operational reports and job documentation
• Participate in safety meetings and operational briefings
• Follow company HSE quality standards and procedures

Field Specialist Intern:

• Assist with preparing, testing and deploying service equipment
• Support field operations under supervision
• Monitor operational parameters and assist with troubleshooting
• Help maintain equipment reliability and service quality
• Participate in job planning, debriefings and improvement activities
• Follow HSE standards and operational procedures

Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics Technician Intern:

• Assist in assembling, testing, maintaining and repairing equipment
• Perform basic inspections and preventive maintenance
• Support inventory management and equipment documentation
• Ensure equipment meets operational and safety standards
• Maintain an organised and clean work environment
• Follow safety rules and standard operating procedures

Requirements for the SLB Graduate Technical Internship Programme 2026

Field Engineer Intern:

• Minimum Second Class Upper (2:1) degree in an engineering field or equivalent
• Must have completed NYSC
• Fresh graduate with no more than three years since graduation including NYSC
• Strong practical electronics or mechanical background
• Good problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills

Field Specialist Intern:

• Minimum Second Class Upper (2:1) HND in engineering or equivalent
• Must have completed NYSC
• Fresh graduate with no more than three years since graduation including NYSC
• Strong practical electronics or mechanical background
• Good problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills

Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics Technician Intern:

• Minimum Second Class Upper (2:1) HND or technical certificate in electronics, electrical, mechanical, mechatronics or equivalent
• Must have completed NYSC
• Fresh graduate with no more than three years since graduation including NYSC
• Strong practical electronics or mechanical background
• Good problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills
