The African Development Bank is accepting applications for Session 1 of its 2027 Internship Program, providing students and recent Master’s graduates with professional and practical experience across areas supporting the Bank’s operations. Internships may be conducted remotely or on-site depending on the requirements of the hiring unit.

Responsibilities

• Support activities within the assigned department and area of study.
• Contribute to projects and initiatives relevant to the Bank’s operations.
• Apply academic knowledge in a professional working environment.
• Participate in departmental activities and assigned tasks.
• Gain practical experience aligned with the Bank’s strategic focus areas.

Requirements

• Must have attained the age of majority in their country of nationality or origin.
• Must be 30 years old or younger when the internship commences.
• Must currently be enrolled in a Master’s degree programme at a recognised higher education institution, or have obtained a Master’s degree within the previous year.
• Must be a national of an African Development Bank member country.
• Must provide proof of current enrolment or a qualifying Master’s degree.
• Fluency in at least one of the Bank’s working languages, English or French.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
• Must submit a comprehensive CV with the online application.
