Applications Open For The 10,000 Black Interns Programme 2026/27 – Apply Now

Internship

United Kingdom - United Kingdom (Multiple Locations, On-site) | Internship | Confidential

Job Description

The 10,000 Interns Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2026/27 Black Interns Programme, one of the UK's most recognised diversity-focused internship initiatives. The programme connects Black students and recent graduates with paid summer internship opportunities across more than 35 sectors and 47 workstreams in the UK, covering technology, finance, engineering, law, healthcare, the creative industries and more. Successful candidates will complete their internships in Summer 2027 and receive professional training, one-to-one mentoring and development resources alongside their placement.

This is a competitive programme and applying does not guarantee placement, as individual employers run their own selection processes. Applications are open from 5 October to 1 November 2026. Note: applicants must have an unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK at the time of application. Being Black or African alone does not make an applicant eligible. The UK university and right-to-work requirements must both be met.

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be Black African, Black Caribbean, Black British or of mixed Black heritage

  • Must have an unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK at the time of application (British/Irish citizens, Indefinite Leave to Remain, EU Settled Status or equivalent)
  • Must not have previously secured an internship through the 10,000 Black Interns Programme
