Responsibilities:
Academic Positions
- Deliver teaching, research and academic administration within the relevant department.
- Contribute to scholarly research, publications and departmental activities.
- Support student development and other university academic responsibilities.
Non-Academic Positions
- Technologist II: Provide technical support within the relevant work area.
- System Analyst II: Support university systems and information technology functions.
- Clinical Instructor: Provide practical nursing instruction and clinical training.
Requirements:
Senior Lecturer - AHUASS 05
- Ph.D. in the relevant field from a reputable university.
- Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable local, national and international journals.
- Relevant professional registration where applicable.
- At least 3 years of full-time university teaching, research and administrative experience.
- MBBS is required for Human Physiology and Medical Biochemistry positions.
Lecturer I - AHUASS 04
- Ph.D. in the relevant field from a reputable university.
- Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals.
- Relevant professional registration where applicable.
Lecturer II - AHUASS 03
- Ph.D. in the relevant field, or a Master's degree with at least 4 relevant publications.
Assistant Lecturer - AHUASS 02
- Minimum of a Master's degree in the relevant field from a recognised university.
Technologist II - AHUSS 07
- O'Level certificate with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
System Analyst II - AHUSS 01
- O'Level certificate with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Relevant B.Sc. qualification.
- Library and Information Science is indicated in the advert in connection with this position.
Clinical Instructor - AHUSS 09
- O'Level certificate with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- BNSc. in Nursing Science.
General Requirements
- Computer literacy is required for all positions.
- NYSC discharge certificate or certificate of exemption is mandatory where applicable.
