Y-ACT Seeks Applications For The Youth Steering Committee (YSC) 2026–2028 Cohort

Y-ACT, an initiative of Amref Health Africa, is inviting applications for its Youth Steering Committee (YSC) 2026–2028 Cohort. This advisory opportunity is designed for passionate young leaders who want to influence youth-focused programmes, partnerships, and policy across Africa. Selected members will contribute to strategic decision-making while representing diverse youth perspectives at regional and global levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic input into Y-ACT's programmes, priorities, and partnerships
• Advise on youth-focused initiatives and opportunities for greater impact
• Contribute to regional and global advocacy, consultations, and engagements
• Support knowledge development through reports, thought pieces, and policy inputs
• Represent youth perspectives and promote meaningful youth engagement

Requirements

• Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old
• Proven experience in youth engagement, advocacy, policy, or development initiatives
• Strong understanding of youth-related issues at national, regional, or continental levels
• Ability to actively participate, collaborate, and deliver assigned responsibilities
