BUA Foods Plc is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead strategic finance and financial control functions within its FMCG manufacturing business. The role is responsible for financial reporting, accounting, treasury controls, tax compliance, and financial governance, with a strong focus on IFRS-compliant reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial decision support.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and provide standards-compliant reports.
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage financial reporting requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Plan, organize, and lead reporting activities.
• Oversee consolidated financial closings, special transactions, and local and functional currency accounting processes.
• Liaise with divisional Finance Heads on unusual transactions.
• Coordinate with external auditors and other stakeholders on compliance and financial reporting activities.
• Oversee the application of relevant accounting pronouncements.
• Take ownership of group consolidation processes and the accounting process and policy manual.
• Provide leadership to the accounting team.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Accountancy.
• MBA or MSc is an advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in FMCG sales, preferably within the food and beverage or manufacturing sectors.
• Relevant professional certifications such as FCA, FCCA, or ACTI.
• Strong regulatory proficiency.
• Strong process control skills.
• Strong financial reporting skills.
• Proficiency in accounting applications and accounting standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• ERP knowledge.
