The British Council, the UK's international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, is recruiting six professionals into its Education and Society unit in Nigeria on 2-year fixed-term contracts. The roles span programme management, non-formal education, higher education, research and insights, and student and alumni engagement, all focused on strengthening education systems and partnerships across Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. These are substantive programme management roles suited to experienced professionals with a strong background in education, research, or project delivery. Only candidates with existing legal right to work in Nigeria will be considered no visa sponsorship is provided. The deadline is 11th August 2026.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (minimum)
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency
• Relevant experience in programme or project management, education, or research
• Must have legal right to work in Nigeria  no visa sponsorship provided
