Sterling Nigeria Facilities LTD is seeking a UI/UX Design Intern to gain practical experience working on live digital products. The 3 to 6 month remote internship is suited to students, recent graduates, and aspiring designers who want to strengthen their product design skills while collaborating with developers and experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
• Conduct basic user research and competitor analysis.
• Design responsive interfaces that follow established design guidelines.
• Support the maintenance of the design system and component library.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and team meetings.
• Update and improve designs based on stakeholder feedback.
• Create simple visual assets such as icons and illustrations when required.

Requirements:

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Familiarity with Figma for interface and prototype design.
• Knowledge of typography, colour theory, spacing, and layout.
• Portfolio featuring personal, academic, or freelance projects is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Benefits:

• Monthly salary of ₦50,000 to ₦80,000.
