Job Description

The Seyi Bickersteth Scholarship Program, implemented in partnership with KPMG, Leadway Assurance, and Andersen, is one of the more comprehensive undergraduate scholarship initiatives currently open to Nigerian students. Beyond annual financial support throughout a four-year degree, successful scholars receive mentorship from senior professionals, internship placements during holidays and SIWES, and a direct pathway to be considered for graduate employment with KPMG, Leadway Assurance, or Andersen upon graduation with a First Class or Second Class Upper. The scholarship is specifically designed for indigent 100-level students in Federal Universities studying finance, business, or actuarial disciplines. Applications close at 4:00 PM on 13th August 2026  apply immediately.

Requirements

  • Must be an indigent Nigerian student
  • Must have provisional admission into a Federal University in Nigeria in one of the eligible four-year degree programmes
  • Must be a 100-level student at the time of application
  • Must have attended a public secondary school or a private secondary school through a scholarship
  • Minimum UTME score of 230
  • Minimum of five distinctions in WASSCE including English Language and Mathematics
  • Must not currently be a beneficiary of another scholarship programme

Selection Process

  • Applications screened based on eligibility criteria
  • Shortlisted candidates invited to an aptitude test
  • Final scholarship awards made after completion of the selection process
