The company is seeking graduates for an internship within its SME Portfolio Management team. The successful candidate will help track the performance of small business customer portfolios while developing practical skills in financial analysis, reporting and business intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Track the financial performance of SME customer portfolios and identify areas requiring attention.
• Compile periodic reports to help management assess portfolio activities and results.
• Examine business data to uncover performance patterns and provide useful insights.
• Review portfolio information regularly to identify and correct inconsistencies.
• Develop and maintain visual reports and dashboards for monitoring business performance.
• Assist with gathering, organising and verifying data from different sources.
• Research portfolio-related issues and present findings to support management decisions.
• Work with colleagues across Risk, Product, Operations and Portfolio Management on analytical assignments.
• Contribute to business intelligence projects and other departmental reporting needs.
• Handle sensitive customer and financial information responsibly.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
• Good academic performance.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and its application to data analysis.
• Ability to interpret information, investigate problems and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with others and manage competing assignments.
• Accuracy and attention to detail when handling numerical information.

Additional Skills (Advantages):

• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, MySQL or other business reporting applications.
