Job Description

Mikano International Limited, one of Nigeria's most diversified companies with divisions spanning Power, Motors, Food, Construction, Marine, and Medical since 1993, is recruiting three professionals into its Motors division in Lagos. The roles cover customer success and after-sales service, automobile AC technical work, and warranty administration. These are structured, process-driven positions within a well-established Nigerian industrial company that operates at scale across multiple sectors.

Available Positions

1. Customer Success & After-Sales Service Representative

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls, emails, chats, and messages covering faults, warranty claims, spare parts, AMC scheduling, and general enquiries
  • Run structured Tier 1 remote diagnostics for generators and vehicles and route unresolved cases to Tier 2 field dispatch or workshop booking
  • Deliver Welcome Call within 24 hours of delivery and confirm customer satisfaction, first service details, and communication preferences
  • Execute Day 7, Day 30, and recurring 3/6/12-month retention touchpoints
  • Log every service request and interaction in the CRM within required timeframes
  • Coordinate field and workshop scheduling within SLA: 4-hour response for critical units, 8-hour for mid-range, 24-hour for routine servicing
  • Follow escalation ladder for unreachable customers through to full case resolution
  • Requirements:
  • OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent customer service experience
  • 1 to 3 years in a customer-facing, call centre, or after-sales/technical support role
  • Automotive or power equipment industry experience is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of CRM/ERP systems and SLA-driven service environments
  • Strong communication skills across phone, WhatsApp, email, and chat
  • Comfortable working to measurable targets including CSI, NPS, and response time

2. Automobile AC Technician

Responsibilities:

ADVERTISEMENT
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in vehicle air conditioning systems
  • Service, repair, and maintain automotive AC systems and components
  • Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, hoses, and related components
  • Detect and repair refrigerant leaks and recharge/recover refrigerants per safety regulations
  • Test electrical circuits, relays, thermostats, sensors, and control units related to AC systems
  • Replace defective compressors, fans, belts, filters, switches, and other AC components
  • Maintain accurate service records and advise customers on AC maintenance requirements
  • Requirements:
  • ND, Technical Certificate, Trade Test, or Vocational Training in Automotive Technology, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, or related field
  • 1 to 2 years proven experience as an Automotive AC Technician
  • Proficiency in AC system diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of automotive technology and refrigeration systems

3. Warranty Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and process warranty claims from customers, technicians, and service advisors
  • Ensure warranty claims comply with manufacturer and company warranty policies
  • Prepare and submit warranty claims within required timelines
  • Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding claim approvals and settlements
  • Monitor outstanding warranty claims and follow up on unresolved issues
  • Conduct warranty audits to ensure compliance and identify discrepancies
  • Analyse warranty claim trends and prepare periodic reports
  • Coordinate return of defective parts to manufacturers and suppliers
  • Address customer enquiries regarding warranty coverage and claim status
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, or related field
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in warranty administration, customer service, or after-sales support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in automotive, manufacturing, electronics, or construction equipment industries is an advantage
  • Experience with ERP systems or warranty management software is an advantage
