Responsibilities

Account Intern

• Record routine financial transactions using the company's accounting software.
• Organise and maintain invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other finance records.
• Update accounting journals, ledgers and supporting schedules.
• Help process supplier invoices, prepare payment vouchers and issue customer invoices.
• Monitor outstanding customer payments and assist with collection follow-ups.
• Compare supplier and customer statements to identify differences.
• Assist with bank reconciliations, petty cash checks and expense monitoring.
• Report financial discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
• Compile information for monthly financial reports and management updates.
• Prepare supporting documents for audit and compliance activities.
• Assist with VAT, WHT and PAYE schedules and related statutory documentation.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Relevant experience, as stated in the vacancy announcement.
