Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management of office facilities, maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and general office operations.
  • Support the setup and administration of training rooms, events, and programmes.
  • Create content for the Humans of LEAP Africa social media page and manage training room bookings and the social media page.
  • Support procurement activities through market research, vendor sourcing, and price comparisons for administrative items.
  • Provide professional reception support by welcoming visitors, managing enquiries, and coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries and phone calls.
  • Support the organization and monitoring of office supplies, inventory records, stock levels, and issuance of items.
  • Manage the cleanliness, organization, and availability of kitchen supplies, toiletries, and refreshments.
  • Support employee welfare initiatives, including celebrations, gifts, meeting setups, and other staff engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • 0–1 year of experience in administration, facilities management, office operations, people support, social media support, customer service, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a people-oriented approach.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management, vendor coordination, front desk support, and office administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant administrative tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting events, meetings, employee engagement, or staff welfare activities is an added advantage.
