ECOWAS Professional Immersion Programme For Young Graduates 2027 – Submit Your Application

ECOWAS is offering 90 places on its 2027 Young Graduates Professional Immersion Programme, a 12-month placement within ECOWAS institutions, agencies, and Permanent Representations across West Africa running from January to December 2027. The programme is open to citizens of all 15 ECOWAS member states aged 18 to 32, covering graduates from Bachelor's level up to PhD. It's designed to give recent graduates their first meaningful professional experience in a multicultural regional organisation while contributing directly to West African integration and development programmes. Candidates posted outside their home country receive a flight ticket to their host country. You can apply for up to two positions using one cover letter, and the deadline is 31st August 2026.

Requirements

• Citizen of an ECOWAS Member State (Nigeria, Ghana, Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Liberia, The Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Cabo Verde, or Togo)
• Between 18 and 32 years old on the application closing date
• Hold a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent qualification
• Proficient in at least one ECOWAS working language: English, French, or Portuguese
• Applicants may apply for a maximum of two positions using one cover letter
