Job Title: Administrative Manager

Description: The Administrative Manager will plan, coordinate, and supervise administrative and general service functions at Dangote Cement Transport Ibese, supporting transport operations through facilities management, staff logistics, vendor management, documentation, welfare administration, and cost optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day administrative functions across DCT Ibese and other operational sites.
- Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Coordinate administrative, clerical, security, cleaning, and facility support teams.
- Provide timely administrative support to departments and units.
- Supervise maintenance, repair, and utilization of facilities, offices, and staff accommodation.
- Ensure availability and effective management of utilities.

Description: The Safety Officer will drive compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards while supporting the prevention of workplace incidents, road traffic accidents, and operational hazards through inspections, risk management, incident investigations, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce company HSE policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections, audits, and safety observations.
- Identify hazards, unsafe acts, and non-compliance issues and ensure corrective actions.
- Monitor fleet operations, vehicle movements, loading and offloading activities, and driver compliance.
- Conduct facility safety inspections.
- Ensure compliance with CNG operational procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Participate in hazard identification, risk assessments, JHA, and risk-control activities.
- Monitor driver fitness and fatigue-related risks.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe occurrences.
- Prepare incident reports and monitor corrective actions.
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, driver engagement sessions, and awareness programmes.
- Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response initiatives.
- Monitor housekeeping, environmental compliance, waste management, and pollution prevention.

- Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and certification assessments.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is preferred.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
- ISPON membership/certification.
- HSE Level I, II & III certifications.
- Additional certifications in Fire Safety, Defensive Driving, Incident Investigation, or CNG Operations Safety are advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant HSE experience in logistics, transportation, manufacturing, oil & gas, fleet operations, or CNG facilities.
- Experience in safety inspections, incident investigations, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring.
- Experience managing transport safety programmes and working in high-risk operational environments is highly desirable.
