Bell Oil and Gas is a leading indigenous oilfield service company in Nigeria with a strong commitment to local content development and capacity building across the oil and gas industry. They're looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead the full procurement and logistics function, covering everything from international sourcing and customs clearance to supplier performance management and Line Pipes and OCTG sourcing. This is a senior leadership role requiring at least 10 years of continuous supply chain experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position within upstream oilfield services. If you have deep knowledge of Nigerian port clearing procedures, EPC or IOC project support experience, and the ability to manage complex international procurement, this role was built for someone at your level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives
• Lead procurement activities from sourcing and RFQ issuance through bid evaluation, negotiation, PO placement, and contract administration
• Build and manage strategic relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, freight forwarders, and logistics partners
• Manage international sourcing, importation, customs clearance, shipping, and local logistics
• Drive Line Pipes and OCTG sourcing and management
• Establish supplier performance measurement and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, NCDMB requirements, and corporate governance standards
• Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, Finance, and Operations to support tenders and project execution
• Manage and develop the supply chain team including timely appraisals and performance feedback
• Oversee timely clearing of goods at Nigerian ports and manage trucking logistics
• Build and maintain databases for OEMs, OCTG mills, accredited distributors, customs clearing agents, and trucking companies
• Control inventory and manage all supply chain projects
• Ensure ISO compliance of supply chain quality processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
• Master's degree or MBA is an advantage
• Minimum 10 years continuous experience in supply chain or procurement
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership position within upstream oilfield services
• Demonstrated experience managing international procurement and complex logistics
• Experience supporting major EPC, IOC, or oilfield service projects
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, APICS/ASCM, or equivalent are desirable
• Excellent knowledge of Nigerian port clearing procedures including the 5-stage clearing process and customs duty computation
• Strong negotiation, RFQ processing, expediting, and inventory management skills
• Proficiency in Nigerian Customs tariff and online bidding platforms
• Excellent MS Excel and analytical skills
