Network Operations Watch Officer ( Entry - Mid Level )

  • Location: New Orleans, LA
  • Contract Pay Rate: $32.00 $45.00 / Hourly Rate ( Experience Dependent )
  • Contract Type: Estimated 24+ Month "Contract" Work Schedule: Mon-Fri initially (training), then 5 days a Week with days off given by seniority. The latest you would work on weekdays is 7:00pm and if you work on a Weekend the latest is 4:00pm Requirements 4+ Years of Customer Service, Military, or I.T. Experience

  • Security+CE / IAT II or Equivalent Job Description Monitor Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) unclassified (MCEN-N) and classified (MCEN-S) networks email, voice, and official message traffic. Perform Tier 1 First Contact Resolution and afterhours Regional Service Desk (RSD) support to include routine checks of network, ongoing maintenance, and operational support status. Inform the Senior Watch Officer of any service degradations or outages. Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or escalate technical issues. Open and close tickets. Correlate events and incidents for management of Information Technology (IT) Services.
