Job Purpose:
Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
Providing counselling on policies and procedure
Coordinating talent acquisition, development and retention
Coordinating employee experience and rewards
Job Description:
Provide counselling on policies and procedures
Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
Create and implement effective onboarding plans
Develop training and development programs
Assist in performance management processes
Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field (Minimum of second class lower).
Extensive experience in general HR (Management experience will be a plus)
Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to exhibit empathy and discipline.
Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical and analytical background (Microsoft Excel skills)
Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
HR certification is an added advantage.
