Qualification & Experience
At least, a national diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution
2 years of experience in supporting NGOs in community mobilization for social development
Assist the Project team and Programme Officer to conduct the related community need assessment
Maintaining regular communication with the community, particularly women, children, and persons with disabilities on community-based Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction
Motivating and organizing community members, including persons with disabilities, on Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction initiatives and practice
Working closely with the Programme Officer for arranging, conducting, and following-up training workshops and community meetings relevant to the project
Assist the DiDRR team and the Programme Officer for updated information on Community-based Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction progress from the community
Follow-up and support the groups trained to act accordingly
Provide support for preparing Community-based Disability Inclusive Disaster Management Plans
Establishing and maintaining linkages among groups in the community
Support the Programme Officer to generate qualitative and quantitative data to document milestones of project progress and submit to the Programme Manager on a monthly basis
Assist the Programme Officer to conduct regular monitoring and reporting
Keep the Programme Officer updated on the progress of the project and any issues that may arise during the course of the implementation that needs Programme Manager’s attention
Update the Programme Officer on any information related to security and follow security instructions of Elim CVTC strictly
Any other task assigned by the Programme Officer or project team
On regular basis, collect LGA data of program activities, review and check to ensure that all information is correct and adequate
